SCAD Cross Country freshman runner Lotti Zeiler was selected as the SCAD “Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week” for Sept. 1-7

On September 5, Lotti Zeiler took part in Spartanburg Eye Opener in Spartanburg, N.C.  The 5K meet was composed of 20 teams of 155 runners.  Zeiler finished 4th overall among a predominately NCAA Division 1 field of runners
 
Zeiler finished the 5K with a time of 19:17.15.  Her time was just 20 seconds shy of the individual title.  Her time helped SCAD to finish 2nd as a team overall and 1st among Non-NCAA Division 1 schools.  For her performance, Zeiler was selected as The Sun Conference "Female Runner of the Week."
 
Congratulations to Lotti Zeiler for the Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week honor.  This is the 1st time that Zeiler has won this award.
 
Other worthy considerations were Alazne Urizar and Sofia Molinaro (2nd and 3rd place individually at the Smoky Mtn. W. Intercollegiate), and Matthew Smith (M. XC).
