SCAD Equestrian Ryan Genn was selected as the SCAD "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" for April 21-27.
Genn was a rider in the 2014 ANRC National Championships held in Sweet Briar, Virginia on April 23-27. His performances were instrumental in his being declared as the 2014 Overall National ANRC Individual Champion.
When added to his teammates’ finishes in other competitions the SCAD Bees were rewarded by winning the 2014 ANRC National Championship. Genn will be a part of the team’s pursuit of another national title when SCAD travels to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to take part in the IHSA National Championships on May 1-4.
Genn is sophomore at SCAD with a 3.36 GPA. His major is, as yet, undeclared.
