Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD W. Soccer Sydney Benda was selected as the SCAD "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" for November 11-17.

The Sun Conference announced the Academic All-Conference team on Thursday, November 14, which included 60 women’s soccer student-athletes. Benda, a junior majoring in Fashion, was among those recognized for her academic achievements. Benda also holds the distinction of being one of only two individuals on the 2013 women’s soccer 60-person Academic All-Conference roster with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Outside the classroom Benda was a midfielder on the women's soccer team and was a key in SCAD's 10-8 season for 2013.

Other worthy considerations for the Student-Artist Athlete Player of the Week were Jordan Trinci-Lyne (M. Soccer) and Laerke Michaelsen (W. Soccer)
