SCAD golfer Alazne Urizar was selected as the SCAD “Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week” for October 21-27.

Urizar took part in the SCAD Fall Invitational Golf Tournament at the Wilmington Island Golf Club in Savannah, Ga. on October 21-22. The tournament was composed of 10 teams of 51 golfers. Urizar won the tournament title by shooting an even par 72 for both rounds of the invite. She paved the way for SCAD to also win the team title of the tournament.

Because of her sterling play Urizar was also selected to the all-tournament team.

In the classroom Urizar carries a GPA of 3.6 in her Architecture major.

Congratulations to Alazne Urizar for the Student-Artist-Athlete honor.

Other worthy considerations were Jessy Scarpone (W. Cross Country), Melanie Novack (W. Cross Country), and Sofia Molinaro (W. Golf).
